Racquet Sports

Tennis has been a tradition at the Middleburg Tennis Club since its founding in 1969.

Our establishment houses three newly renovated U.S. Open Supreme Court surface indoor courts with professional level lighting, six outdoor Har-Tru clay courts, and two outdoor hard courts with a hitting wall. Tennis enthusiasts will find that there is always an opportunity to have fun out on the courts!

Our tennis program includes an exciting variety of activities led by the Club’s Director of Racquets, Oscar Imhof. Year-round clinics and lesson programs are available for all. Members are encouraged to participate in club-organized tournaments, socials, and Pro exhibition matches. MTC also offers women’s, men’s, and mixed doubles USTA league play and inter-club matches.

For our younger members, a children’s Quickstart Program is available as early as age four. Junior Tennis Camps are offered during the summer months.

Court times may be reserved for members by calling the tennis desk at 540-687-6388 ext 200, or emailing [email protected]. Courts may only be reserved up to two weeks out from the current date.

Court Rates

90 Minutes of play is $10.50 per player, this includes a can of balls.

*Seasonal Tennis rates are offered while the outdoor clay courts are open.

Tournaments

Ten tournaments per year are offered by the Club for all levels of players.

The Pro Shop

Our pro shop is well stocked with quality merchandise for men, women, and children alike. We feature major brands of clothing, shoes, rackets, and accessories for all players—a great way to improve your game!
