Meet the Pros

 

Kevin Brundle
Kevin came to us from the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia, a 60 court facility, where he was the Director of Tennis and the Assistant Director of the Professional Tennis Management program at Berry College. He is a United States Professional Tennis Association certified Elite Professional and has been teaching players of all levels for the past 12+ years.  

  Kevin is a Professional Tennis Management graduate from Ferris State University with a B.S. in marketing and has been certified in Club Management from FSU. Kevin has worked and developed programs in Connecticut, Florida, Maryland and Georgia.

  Born and raised in Michigan, Kevin says his passion and enthusiasm comes from the pure love of the sport. Upon accepting the position at MTC Kevin stated...

Trevor Scott
Trevor, who is a certified teaching professional by the United States Professional Tennis Association and Professional Tennis Registry, comes to us from Country Club of Fairfax. As a junior, he held USTA rankings in the Florida and Mid-Atlantic Sections. A Sherando High School graduate, Trevor played collegiate tennis at University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. His teaching career began at Winchester Country Club as an Assistant Pro involved in all aspects of the junior development and cardio tennis. Trevor's coaching includes Head Coach for John Handley HS Girl's team and Assistant Coach for the men's and women's varsity teams at Shenandoah University. During the summer he coached the USTA/Mid-Atlantic National 12's Zonal Team and the Capital Clash 10's team to 1st place finishes in 2014. 

 

Kyla Walgren
Kyla, a United States Professional Association (USPTA) certified Elite Professional, has been teaching up and down the East Coast for the past 5 years. Her coaching career started in Connecticut and has taken her Florida, Georgia, and now Virginia. She graduated from Springfield College with a B.S. in Movement and Sports Studies. She has been on numerous USTA nationals league teams and played collegiate tennis at Springfield College, where she was also the team captain. She has also led numerous USTA teams to postseason tournaments. Kyla enjoys teaching players of all ages and skill levels, but greatly enjoys her time on court with 10 and under players.
